Visual Learning Style-
The second learning style is visual, visual learners create mental images to help them learn.
- They think in pictures and make good sense of direction. Visual learners enjoy making story boards when writing and benefit from using mind maps and brainstorming.
- These students are good at solving puzzles, and have an ability to read graphs and charts.
- During math and science, they will enjoy representing and analyzing information. Always give them opportunities to design and construct skills.
- While teaching these types of students, I would use the marker board and worksheets a lot.
- When teaching these types of learners you must use pictures, graphs, and diagrams.
- The visual learning style is known to be the most common so this is the one I would use the most in my classroom. Instead of giving students just words on the board, make them a picture with words and it’ll help them learn faster and easier.
